In More Detail...........

For almost 4 years between 2003 and 2007, my partner at the time, Don, and I lived in San Francisco. We were just regular city folk who used to thrive in the "corporate rat race". However because of the times, we found ourselves BOTH laid off. In January 2003 after being laid off, I realized how stressed out I was and decided to go in a different direction in my life. I started to dust off my resume but then put it back in the drawer to collect more dust taking the leap to start my ownbusiness. Don joined me later that same year.

Starting our own business. We always wanted to run our own business someday but never realized it would be a dream cometrue!

 

During the previous years before getting laid off we were always researching, reading, studying, taking classes and learning about the running of a Bed-and-Breakfast Inn with dog care services. Initally, we were going to wait till later when we retired to open up a place. 

Why the combination? The idea was to specialize not only accepting guests with dogs but also "babysit" their pooches while they went out to see the town and maybe enjoy a nice restaurant. We looked forward to sitting around the porch with dogs atour feet and chatting and hearing stories from people all over the world.

Final Solution... We basically, decided to run a Bed-and-Breakfast Inn for dogs and we didn't have to change sheets everyday! The parents had to get their own room elsewhere. 

Dreams DO come true... we're living proof! (SEE PHOTOS BELOW)

In 2 years our business grew so fast that we had to turn away clients because we were running at maximum capacity most of the time.

Later after a divorce, I met Marc here in Aylmer, my half of the business was closed, I moved up here, and married the love of my life. Now I'm back in business to pamper YOUR dogs like I did in San Francisco!
